We're Going Gaga For December's Best Magazine Covers

The slow but steady trickle of December fashion magazine covers has begun with some real heavy hitters: Miley Cyrus on the cover of both American and British Cosmopolitan, Nicole Kidman staring us down from the front of Vanity Fair, and Lady Gaga glowing in gold on the cover of Glamour's Women of the Year issue.

Gaga's inclusion on the list — which also boasts activist Malala Yousafzai, Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet, and model Liya Kebede, among others — comes from "making the world a more tolerable place" through her Born This Way Foundation. "My ambition was never to rule the world," Gaga says in the issue. "It was always to change the world."
